 Strawberry Sampler

Strawberry Sampler

A traditional style sampler which is quick and easy to work. Featuring a complete alphabet together with traditionally used motifs of trees, birds, flowers, animals and a house, the whole piece is surrounded by a simple yet effective strawberry border. A lovely first sampler that any stitcher will be proud of!

The finished sampler incorporates the initials of the stitcher and the year of completion - the chart pack includes everything you need to personalise the design with your own details.

This design is ideal as an introduction to to the charm of traditional cross stitch samplers. Only whole cross stitches are used, with a very small amount of backstitching for detail.
